About The Dorset Ginger Company

 

A stunning range of sophisticated and refreshing soft drinks made with the finest naturally sourced ingredients with no artificial flavours, preservatives, colours, or sweeteners, and are suitable for vegans and coeliacs.

The Dorset Ginger Company was formed around 1985 by a local family butcher, Ivor Bishop, whose products were sold locally and at various fairs.  

In 2007 ownership transferred to Richard and Michelle and the business was relocated to its current premises in Lytchett Matravers. During these years Richard and Michelle added extra flavours to the range and the products and in 2017 the business ownership changed to Nick and Timi, the current owners. 


 

 

Since 2017 they have received the SALSA accreditation mark, for food and safety standards, every year. The SALSA standard was written by experienced food safety experts to reflect both the legal requirements of producers and the enhanced expectations of ‘best practice’ of professional food buyers.
